2025 AGM election update

The 2025 AGM took place at a new venue, The Gallery on Castlereagh Street in the CBD

A summary was provided of ACTA’s key activities over the year, and the Association’s ongoing focus to remain the leading voice of all sectors involved in the fascinating Australian coffee industry.   The new Committee for 2026 as elected under the reconfirmed nomination process was also formally confirmed.  Thanks were also given to the Committee Members who selflessly continue to make the effort and time for the coffee industry at large.

The AGM also counted with two great speakers, touching on themes requested in advance by ACTA’s Members; Tim Noye from The Clever Cafe Company spoke about how to develop more valuable supply chain partnerships between cafes  and coffee roasters, whilst Tom Moffit from Ebury provided his perspectives on George Soros’ comment that ”  the hardest thing to judge is what level of risk is safe’.  Mike Wilson from Prime Creative also updated members on preparations for M.I.C.E. 2026.
