ACTA’s 2026 Events

ACTA Melbourne Function
Thursday 26th March 2026

Timed alongside the key coffee exhibition for the Southern Hemisphere (M.I.C.E.)  ACTA’s Melbourne Dinner Function is held each year and always includes a fascinating industry discussion. Many Australian and global companies will be represented.

This year the event took place at EVA’s located in Pullman Melbourne City Centre, with two speakers covering topics of keen interest.  Adrian Randall of ARCADIAN DIGITAL spoke about AI as the next leap in productivity, whilst Alan Sims of SEAWAY AGENCIES provided key perspectives on expected shipping and supply chain developments for remainder 2026.

Sincere thanks to our key sponsors Jet Technologies, RPM Freight & Logistics and Seven Miles who made this event possible.

ACTA mid year Sydney Networking Banquet - Thursday June 11th 2026

The ACTA mid-year networking banquet is always a very well attended event that sells out fast, and last year was no exception! This year we are planning a ‘Coffee Roaster’ panel with 3 companies presenting their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities of running a successful roastery.  Upwards of 50 invited guests are expected to come to this leading date in NSW’s coffee calendar. Expect a very active Q&A always reflecting a high level of engagement and interest!

ACTA Golf Day
Friday 21st August 2026 - Queensland

Please refer to the sub tab – ‘Golf Day Results (link in the name) for the winners of the 2025 ACTA Golf Day.

For 2026 we will be returning to Brisbane for a great day of competitive golf and coffee networking.   The generous sponsorship of ACTA members always allows for some great prizes!  An 18 hole ambrose competition will be played followed by a superb lunch and the presentation of prizes.   A great opportunity to meet and play with other ACTA members.

ACTA AGM Function
Thursday 26th November 2026

ACTA AGM Function is held each year for ACTA members only. A more formal event with a recap of the year’s achievements, the association’s audited P&L, focus areas for the year ahead, confirmation of the elected Committee for the following year, and guest presenters.  There are only limited sponsorship opportunities for ACTA members. Last year’s event took place amid the superb surroundings of The Gallery on Castlereagh Street in Sydney’s CBD.

Key sponsors RPM FREIGHT & LOGISTICS and JET TECHNOLOGIES.

Last year the two guest speakers (selected based on feedback from members) were Tim Noye of The Clever Cafe Company, speaking on how to foster more valuable supply chain partnerships between cafes and coffee roasters, and Tom Moffit of EBURY who discussed George Soros’ contention that “the hardest thing to judge is what level of risk is safe”.   Mike Wilson of PRIME CREATIVE also updated the members on plans for M.I.C.E. 2026.
