ACTA Adelaide Dinner- Monday April 3rd 2023
With the exciting development of a new National Coffee Competition, held by The Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of South Australia ( please see the “Events” section ) ACTA hosted an inaugural dinner in Adelaide. This year held at the Duke of Brunswick Hotel, guests attending were drawn from the South Australia coffee community and existing ACTA Members. A great opportunity for the South Australian coffee industry to meet for the first time at an informal social event. Thanks to our key sponsor Cofi-Com.
ACTA Brisbane Function - Friday 5th May 2023
On Friday May 5th’23 at the Q ROASTERS roastery in Stafford, ACTA held an immensely interesting forum and dinner, with two industry speakers ( Prof Robert Henry from the University of Queensland, and John Russell Storey, Marketing Manager from Cofi Com ) providing their views on “Challenges of Coffee Production in a Period of Climate Change” and “Climate Change from a Farmer’s Perspective”. Generously hosted by the Hosking family of Q ROASTERS, and with both DI BELLA COFFEE and COFI COM as sponsors, the invited guests met and networked over a superb dinner.
ACTA mid year Sydney Networking Banquet - June 29th 2023
The ACTA mid year networking banquet is always a very well attended event that sells out fast, and this year was no exception. This year we had two key speakers presenting their thoughts on leading coffee production issues from Peru (Mario Vargas, the Peruvian Trade Commissioner) and Brazil (Marcelo Brussi, CEO of Minas Hill). Over 50 invited guests were able to network and meet with the who’s who in the coffee industry. This year’s event generously sponsored by COFI COM, JET TECHNOLOGIES and RPM FREIGHT & LOGISTICS.
ACTA Melbourne Function
16th August 2023
ACTA Melbourne Function is held each year along with a forum industry discussion. Many Australian and global companies represented. This year the event will be taking place at HOPHAUS on the Yarra River, with 2 speakers from IWCA presenting their thoughts on the topic of “Women in Coffee”. Due to tremendous support and interest from member and non-member companies, this event is now sold out! ACTA Golf Day
Friday 3rd November 2023
Please refer to the sub tab – ‘Results’ for the winners of the latest ACTA Golf Day. Scheduled to be held once again at The Oatlands Golf Course. Sponsorship opportunities for ACTA members. An 18 hole ambrose competition followed by a superb lunch and presentation of prizes. A great opportunity to meet and play with other ACTA members.
ACTA AGM Function
Thursday 23rd November 2023
ACTA AGM Function is held each year for ACTA members only. A more formal event with guest presenters. This year the AGM took place once again at Park Hyatt, The Rocks, Sydney. Limited sponsorship opportunities for ACTA members. The event included a presentation by DAFF and the elections for the 2024 Committee. Key sponsors this year were BEAN ALLIANCE GROUP, 7 MILES, and RPM FREIGHT & LOGISTICS.
